Museum of Art Baltimore

Home For The Holidays

The Baltimore Museum of Art’s new Center for People & Art shines the spotlight on home in its inaugural exhibit, "Imagining Home." On view through next year, it pulls together 37 works from across the museum’s collection to explore the timeless them of ‘home’ through paintings, decorative arts, textiles and sculptures. Unique pieces, including a Suzani prayer rug, an ancient Greek krater and a modern-day toaster, tell the story in three thematic areas. Admission is free. After checking out "Imagining Home," head into Gertrude’s, the museum’s John Shields-helmed restaurant, for classic Chesapeake Bay cuisine.

Address: 10 Art Museum Drive
